So here it is April again and the air is filled with pollen and the sounds of lawnmowers. Everyone’s focus turns to outdoor activities this time of the year. We tend to forget about the old reliable computers that kept us entertained throughout the winter. Computer cleaning and maintenance are vital to keeping them running well. BLOG NEGLECT.....I'M GUILTY AS CHARGED

Here it is almost two years to the day since my friend and I launched this little experiment called Techwondo. It started as a web technology experiment to see if we could learn the ways of Drupal and CSS. After investing hundreds of hours into learning the craft, we managed to get it up and running at 98% completion. We planned to make multiple updates a day to keep our readers coming back. It was going to be great....or so we thought.

NVISION 08 STARTS TODAY

Today is the first day of NVISION 08 in San Jose, CA. NVISION is being put on by the NVIDIA corporation, an industry leader in visual computing technology. NVISION 08 is the first-ever visual computing event. When most people think of NVIDIA, they think of 3D gaming. There will be much more to this event. It will gather together visual computing professionals, gamers, artists, designers, and cutting-edge researchers to share ideas and collaborate on all things related to the visual computing industry.

INTEL SHIFTS FUTURE CORE™ PROCESSORS INTO TURBO MODE

i7Intel held its annual INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM (IDF) last week. One of the highlights of the event was the keynote speaker, Pat Gelsinger, senior vice president and general manager of Intel's Digital Enterprise Group. Mr. Gelsinger discussed the new features of the company's next-generation processor family including a new turbo mode that shifts the processor into a higher gear for mind-blowing performance without a heat penalty.

We are a couple of guys obsessed with computing technology. There are two of us running the show here. My name is Ken and I am a DIY Windows PC builder.
